This includes terms like technicalities and legal sanctions associated with buying a land, the type of land for building a home, the area of that land that can actually use to build a home.

A few technical terms you should get yourself acquainted with

  • NA Land: Non-agricultural land
  • R-zone: Residential zone
  • FSI: FSI stands for Floor Space Index also known as Floor Area Ratio (FAR). FSI means the ratio between the area of a covered floor (Built up Area) to the area of that plot (land) on which a building stands.

Land either coming in 200 mtrs. or 500 mtrs. from Gaothan limits or land area having 25 Acres or more can be converted for residential use. Provided that, the subjective land falls under agricultural or residential Zone
